Digiipatt sells digital books. That sounds simple until the product is a file that must only reach the person who paid for it — on any device, without a support ticket.

The platform combines a WooCommerce storefront with an access layer that ties each purchase to a customer account, so reading and listening happen inside a controlled experience rather than through a raw download link.

Digital publishers usually face the same trade-off: make access convenient, or make it controlled. Getting both right means the storefront, the order lifecycle and the content experience have to be designed together instead of bolted on.

• Entitlement has to survive refunds, cancellations and duplicate purchases without locking a legitimate customer out.
• Audiobook playback and eBook reading are two different experiences with two different failure modes.
• Catalogue operations — uploads, pricing, categorisation — had to stay manageable without a developer.

Access is derived from order state rather than managed by hand. When an order completes, entitlement follows automatically; the customer experience does not depend on someone granting access manually.
